  1. Oct 6

    Design & Selections

    Done

Layout, tile, vanity, fixtures and glass picked and ordered.

    Sam Delgado · Oct 6

Selections are locked in! Large white wall tile, the grey hex floor, the oak floating vanity and a frameless glass shower. Everything is ordered and the vanity lands before we need it.

  2. Oct 15

    Demolition

    Took 2 days

Tub, tile, vanity and drywall out, down to the studs.

Sam Delgado · 13 days ago

Demo is done and the old tub is out. Good news: the subfloor under it is solid, no water damage anywhere.

  3. Oct 22

    Plumbing & Electrical Rough-In

    Took 6 days

New shower valve and drain, vanity supply, fan, lights and outlets, then inspection.

Sam Delgado · 6 days ago

Rough-in passed inspection! The shower valve is set for the rain head, the fan vents outside now and the vanity outlets are right where we marked them together.

    Questions on this stage 5

    • You · 3 hours agoThe niche looks bigger than I pictured! Will it still fit the tall shampoo bottles?
    • Sam · 2 hours agoYes, it is 14 inches tall inside, same as the drawing. The tile will take about half an inch off that.
    • You · 2 hours agoPerfect. Is it too late to make the shower floor heated?
    • Sam · 1 hour agoNot too late for the main floor, since tile has not started. I’ll send you a quick quote for the heat mat today. It adds a day.
    • You · 35 min agoAmazing, thank you!
