Is there a free trial?
Yes. 14 days of full Pro (your branding, up to 10 projects, live client links), no credit card. When the trial ends, every client link you've already shared stays live for good; starting a new project after that needs Pro at $49 USD/month.
What payment methods do you accept?
Cards, through Stripe's secure checkout, billed monthly or yearly in USD, CAD or EUR. Trace never sees or stores your card details.
Can I change plans anytime?
Yes. Billing in Trace opens Stripe's billing page, where you manage your subscription.
Is there a contract?
No. Plans are monthly or yearly subscriptions, and you can cancel from Billing.
How does Trace compare to Buildertrend pricing?
Buildertrend doesn't publish its prices; third-party reports put its entry plan at roughly $339 to $499 USD/month (as of Oct 2026). Trace Pro is $49 USD/month. Buildertrend is full project management; Trace shows your client the job.
